O bioma amazônico possui uma vasta biodiversidade, com solos em sua maioria de baixa fertilidade, porém com algumas manchas denominadas de terras pretas arqueológicas (TPA), onde esses solos apresentam, alta fertilidade natural e potencial físico em relação aos solos adjacentes. O objetivo deste trabalho foi avaliar a variabilidade espacial da textura em áreas de terras pretas arqueológica sob diferentes usos na região sul do Amazonas. O estudo foi realizado no município de Apuí, sendo que na área de estudo, foi estabelecido um grid amostral de 88 por 64 m, e os solos foram amostrados nos pontos de cruzamento da malha, com intervalos regulares de 8 m, totalizando 88 pontos amostrais. Objetivou-se com esse trabalho caracterizar e determinar a diversidade genética, com base na anatomia foliar, entre acessos de café resistentes a ferrugem, do Banco de Germoplasma de Minas Gerais, utilizados em programas de melhoramento genético. Para as avaliações anatômicas foram utilizados 20 acessos de cafeeiros, que são utilizados por instituições de pesquisa em programas de melhoramento genético visando resistência a ferrugem. This work aimed to evaluate the influence of the management practices and environmental variables in the population of R. palmarum in area of seed production of Elaeis spp. in the Amazonas State, Brazil. Jatropha curcas growth, like any other crop, depends on adequate management. However, there is little information about weed interference on the growth and control of this crop. This study aimed to identify the floristic composition of weeds in a J. curcas cultivation area in Maringá (Paraná, Brazil). The study was carried out in an area of 600 m2, where spacing between plants was 3 x 2 m. For the identification and quantification of weeds, we applied the method of inventory square. This study evaluated the prognosis of the diameter distribution of forest stands of Eucalyptus spp., Using the Weibull probability density function, with two and three parameters and two systems of equations for forest prognosis (Systems I and II), the System I made by a larger number of stand variables. We used data of 791 permanent plots measured at ages 25-122 months. The two-parameter function was fitted by maximum likelihood methods and linear approach and the three parameters only by the maximum likelihood method.
